Facility Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) Consultant A/E Services to US Customs and Border Protection
United States

IEA provided support services to the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for 17 Land Port of Entry’s (LPOE) including those under the Buffalo and El Paso Field Offices.

The prime contractor team, including IEA, provided program and project execution support services and technical planning of the CBP’s $420M nationwide critical port facilities modernization effort which were critical to the program’s success. Support included program management, technical support (engineering, environmental, and real estate; cost estimating; GIS support, facilities/real property management, and design standards), program controls support (scheduling, WBS maintenance, change management, risk management, and quality management), financial management, information management, and Program Management Office (PMO) workforce development.

IEA’s specific responsibilities included the development of a facility maintenance and repair matrix, and a Facility Performance Management Plan for CBP to monitor and evaluate Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) service
performance. We also developed customer satisfaction surveys to provide feedback on perceived satisfaction with MRO support to CBP managed LPOE facilities.

IEA in support of the prime contractor team prepared and coordinated numerous, diverse and often public relations sensitive requirements with numerous stakeholders and provided excellent, timely, and cost effective solutions to USACE and CBP leadership
