Aviation with Vision: Brenden Saline, PE, Leads the Way as IEA’s New Director of Aviation

Brenden Saline, PE, brings over 20 years of civil engineering experience to his new role as Director of Aviation, leading IEA’s efforts to expand and elevate aviation services across Texas and beyond.

IEA is proud to announce Brenden Saline, PE, as our new Director of Aviation. Brenden has already shown exceptional leadership, expertise, and dedication, which have strengthened our team. His passion for delivering sustainable, forward-thinking solutions continues to elevate the services we provide to our aviation clients. 
 
Brenden’s role as IEA’s Director of Aviation includes overseeing the planning, design, and delivery of airport infrastructure projects—including runways, taxiways, airfield lighting, and terminal access. He leads IEA’s aviation team, managing key client relationships, ensuring compliance with FAA standards, and focusing on creating sustainable, innovative solutions tailored to client needs and their future goals.

His extensive expertise in airport infrastructure, combined with a thorough understanding of our clients’ needs, positions him as the ideal leader to guide our aviation team toward future success.

Brenden brings more than two decades of civil engineering experience, with the last 15 years focused on aviation. His background includes leading the design and management of both airside and landside projects at some of the nation’s busiest airports—including  Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW), George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston (IAH), San Antonio International Airport (SAT), and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). Brenden has played key roles on major aviation programs, including projects with construction values reaching up to $9.5 billion. His deep understanding of FAA standards, along with international experience applying International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) guidelines, gives him a well-rounded perspective to support airports of all sizes. His hands-on leadership, technical expertise, and proven ability to navigate complex aviation programs make him well-suited to lead IEA’s growing aviation team.
